The online store www.equimaf.ca is operated by BROKOU INC., under the brand EQUIMAF™. We offer solutions and equipment for businesses, professionals, institutions, and individuals across Québec and Canada.

This policy outlines our shipping, delivery, and order tracking conditions.


1. Delivery Areas

We currently ship to:

  • Québec
  • All across Canada

Certain remote or hard-to-access locations may result in:

  • extended delivery times;
  • additional charges;
  • or the inability to use standard shipping services.

If delivery is not possible to your address, you will be notified by email.


2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation;
  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day.

Additional delays may apply when:

  • a product is a special order;
  • an item is out of stock;
  • the order is shipped directly by a supplier;
  • specialized transportation is required.

3. Estimated Delivery Times

  • Québec and Canada: typically 2 to 7 business days
  • Remote regions: variable delivery times

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.


4. Free Shipping – Conditions

Eligibility for free shipping

Free shipping is offered only if all the following conditions are met:

  • minimum order amount: $300 before taxes;
  • total order weight: 25 kg or less;
  • products eligible for standard shipping;
  • delivery address located in a serviceable area without surcharge.

Important:
The order value alone does not guarantee free shipping. Weight, volume, and product type are always taken into consideration.


5. Heavy, Large or Specialized Items

Some products, even for orders over $300, cannot be shipped via standard delivery, including:

  • heavy equipment;
  • oversized items;
  • orders exceeding standard carrier handling limits.

In such cases, the following options may apply:

  • specialized carrier;
  • pallet (freight) delivery;
  • custom quote shipping;
  • warehouse pickup (when available).

A representative from BROKOU INC. will contact you prior to shipment to confirm:

  • shipping method;
  • delivery timelines;
  • applicable charges.

6. Weight Guidelines – Standard Shipping (Indicative)

  • ≤ 25 kg: Free shipping (if conditions are met)
  • 25 to 30 kg: Shipping available – additional fees may apply
  • > 30 kg: Freight or specialized transport required

These thresholds are based on standard practices from Canadian carriers.


7. Custom Shipping – Businesses and Institutions

For:

  • corporate orders;
  • institutional or government projects;
  • large or complex orders.

8. Delivery Terms

  • Deliveries are made Monday to Friday during standard carrier hours;
  • Some deliveries may be contactless depending on the carrier;
  • A signature may be required for high-value items.

P.O. boxes are not accepted as delivery addresses.


9. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • providing a complete and accurate delivery address;
  • ensuring the delivery location is accessible;
  • being available to receive the shipment.

Additional charges may apply in the event of:

  • incorrect address;
  • absence during delivery;
  • failed or refused delivery.

10. Partial Orders and Multiple Shipments

Some items may be shipped:

  • separately;
  • from different warehouses or suppliers.

This may result in multiple deliveries for a single order.


11. Order Tracking

  • A shipping confirmation email is sent when the order leaves the warehouse;
  • A tracking number is provided when available;
  • Order status may also be viewed through your customer account.

12. Order Cancellation

An order or item may be cancelled in cases such as:

  • insufficient stock;
  • logistical error;
  • unexpected supplier unavailability.

In such cases, the amount paid will be refunded using the original payment method.
